187 RECORDS is an East Coast based Record Label founded by Jose Robles in the fall of 2005. His vision was to create a network where bands could interact and team up to promote their music, increase show booking and attendance, and advertise available merchandise in order to broaden their fan base. Soon after going public, 187 Records began to gain recognition within the local underground metal scene. As 187 Records' popularity increased Jose Robles called on the talents of John Matheis to help further the mission of the label. In the past three years, 187 Records has branched out by releasing a handful of extreme albums from up and coming bands around the world.

187 Records now strives to assist talented musicians by producing and promoting quality albums. The Label's primary focus is to release original and intense tracks from genres such as grindcore, death metal, and hardcore. 187 Records is committed to providing their bands with professional representation and a broad range of opportunites.
